No. If you look at the MPGs for both the manual and auto, the auto is more efficient per the testing. I would normally agree that manual should be more efficient but I am trusting the testing numbers for now.

15.4 is my average according to Fuelly during my first 1000 miles of ownership. I do have 265/70-17 wildpeaks on now. I’m in WV with lots of mountain driving but this is definitely lower than both my ‘13 Tacoma and my ‘17 T4R. Not too worried about it, but wouldn’t mind if it came up a bit. 6sp M/T fwiw.

Exactly correct... just watch other driver habits. It’s crazy how most will speed past me towards a red light, and then apply brakes to a full stop while I just coast up to the light and go once the light turns green, never needing to apply brakes. Habits do change as you age... getting 20+ mixed MPG at 5300 feet altitude in a 2018 Limited, top tier 86 fuel.

In Florida with mostly highway miles I was averaging 22 mpg. Now that I'm only doing city driving in Atlanta I average 15 mpg.

I've read on site that the air dam takes about 2 mpg off your average- wondering if that is true. I have noticed lower average on freeway speeds. I'd be curious to what others have found?

Stock regular cab, 2.7 l 4 cyl 5 speed. Sea level to 1000 feet. This tank on local trips 19.1 mpg. On the highway I get 21 - 22 mpg (70 - 80 mph). If I stay below 2500 rpm on the highway I can get 25 mpg (I only tried that once).

This is really bad practice as it is likely going to foul your evaporative emissions system requiring at a minimum a canister replacement. If you live in a region with emissions testing requirements, this could cause a test failure. Once the pump clicks off, call it done; rounding up to the next dollar isn't going to hurt, but jamming the tank to the top every time will.

Anybody have any luck or see a difference with Ethenol free. I was getting gas last night, glanced at the blue pump handle and the thought crossed my mind curious if anybody has seen anything significant with it. It was $2.59 for 89 Eth-free with the 87 Shell I filled up with at 2.10 with my $.03/gal shell fuel rewards discount

Not complaining and not worrying. Interested to see if there is a correlation between models and mpg. Or location and mpg. Quick overview it seems the stock OR guys are getting better mpg than the 2wd guys.

The sport models have a lower front air deflector/dam adding minimal MPG’s.

    Do seat covers count?
16-19 2019 DCSB TRD OR in southern Ohio. The cold weather tanks my MPG because I usually let it run for 5-10 minutes before I drive it.
