I wonder how many of the "who cares" replies that took the time to come in and read Also took the time to cast one of the 230+ votes. :boink:
Negative voices are always the loudest. And usually the funniest. Lol.

agreed......for years i kept a small book in the console and recorded all fill-ups......i quit after my first Lexus in 1995 because there was only a .2-.3 difference......my 2000 BMW K1200LTs bike computer could be calibrated right on the bike and was +/_ .4.... My wife's Lexus is the same as mine and the Tacoma's computer is +/- .2 .......my BMW R1200gs motorcycle is also +/- .2 ......they all are better.....
i have been doing this for over 30 years.....it is the only way I can get an accurate PMG reading....if it cuts off, with all the air in the tube, you can never get it at the same place each time.....therefore you would not get an accurate reading......i do not consider this to be a big factor in my fill ups.....i do not think it will hurt the canister

2019 4X2 4 cyl utility model on stock tires 245/75/16 took 50 mile highway round trip with about 12 miles of dirt road added on, averaged 22 mph, truck has just 965 miles on it
Traveling down a dirt road I was getting this awesome overly optimist reading

This was my mileage this morning on my commute to work, consisting of 50/50 hwy/city and several uphill and down hill sections.

I generally use 89 octane and definitely not in the slow lane. I have been using sport mode (5 gear) on the city streets.

I have the same exact vehicle and net roughly the same MPG .

Always using CC when I’m on 880 and 580 which puts me up in the 19s.

Before I installed my prinsu cab rack, my 2019 dclb 4x4 off-road gets 19.1 mpg on 87 octane. I only got above the 20 mpg when I used premium 91 octane from the dealer lot. That was 2 months ago and I’ve yet to see over the 19 mpg and I drive usually with a lead foot but the computer screen with the average fuel consumption meter turned me into a Prius- like driver.

Edit- now with the rack I’m getting about 18.5 mpg

Regular 20 mile highway stint home at 75mph+ - 16-17mpg.
I'm just gonna put this out there ok, it was 18mpg consistently with the air dam ON. There, I said it. But that joker is in a recycling plant somewhere as we speak. Wouldn't put one back on if you gave it to me for free.

Did a 13hr haul up north and saw 23mpg

I have found that cold impacts MPG more than anything. When it’s single digits, I’m getting 16-17. When it’s in the 30s I’m getting 19ish.

Also, for those reporting high mpg, you must live in flat areas. Cold + hills = shit MPG.

    Stock DCLB.

This truck gets the best mpg by accelerating to speed limit and feathering peddle to stay at speed.

My commute today. 70% highway. Relatively flat and 60-65mph.
I notice the winter fuel mix has greatest impact on MPG (1-2 mpg). My commute is ~24 miles, 70% highway and 60-65 mph. Pretty easy driver and relatively flat. Summer tank avg is usually 22-23 and winter tank avg is 21 consistently. DCOR with stock Goodyear’s. Here’s my commute this morning. F2457011-AD20-4359-B2A6-C2813AD252F2.jpg
