Odd, just bought mine (2019) and the sport was rated 21 highway with the manual, vs 20 for the offroad I chose (right on the window sticker) I have to imagine the street tires and lower valance would be good for some mpg gain. shrugs

Mpg improved after 10k miles. Consistently around 20 on highway and I drive fast. Tonneau may help at higher speeds.

I've found it entirely depends upon how you drive. If you drive very cautiously, especially in the accelerating stages, then the truck can get decent mileage. I run 33s presently, and barely get 18mpg if I baby it. If I drive according to regular traffic, I'll get 17. If I gun it, I'll get 15.

I get around 21-23 mpg/tank avg. Higher in summer and lower in winter. Never had a tank avg less than 20 mpg. 2017 off-road mostly stock. 70% highway miles.

I watch my mileage on road, as a sort of hobby. To get best mileage, inflate tires to 35ish psi, accelerate up to speed and then don't go over maybe 60mph. I enjoy saving gas money on paved roads.

When I'm offroading, I turn off the mileage thing. I'm no longer saving gas, I'm wheeling and having fun. I use whatever gear and throttle setting the terrain dictates. Off road, I'm no longer saving gas, I'm saving my sanity.

Diamond button on the steering wheel. Toggle to the MPH screen. Then toggle downward or upward till you see tank mileage

Do you have steering wheel controls? It's on the up/down on the right. Otherwise, I don't know.

I've actually logged the mileage using one of the trip meters and done the math at fill ups and averaging all of those.
I'm at 19mpg overall, that's some local back and forth and 400 mi round trips to go riding. I don't stomp on the gas and try to drive pretty mellow but at times I'll get on it to get past some slow dipshits in the left lane.

I've had the computer reporting 23mpg when you can look at the odo and gas guage and it doesn't add up.

Mine matches up very closely with the dash display on the tank fill up, for example it may say 20.7 and hand calculate out to 20.67.

Biggest detriment to mileage is sitting idling at lights or gridlock. It pulls mileage down drastically. The best mileage can be achieved by hyper-mileing ahead of a red light or stop sign. The folks riding your bumper will have to stop anyway. Usually the light will change before you get there if you time it right and you won't have to brake. And that my friends is the rest of the story.

Thanks for all the help guys, seems 16 miles to the gallon.970 miles on the truck and it is due for first checkup.
I am still learning the truck and now that the nice weather is creeping in here in Pa. I will get out more often with Barney. I am retired and just enjoying my home, so I don't get out much, so thanks again for putting up with me
