    Hi,

    My 2015
2nd gen, 2.7l, db, 2wd, AT has about 170k miles, and i m getting a feelinf that fuel filter needs to be replaced as it kind of vibrates at idle n showing signs of struggling for fuel at idle.

So, the question is where the fuel filter located? Any tips n recommendation will be great!

    Thank you Tacoma World !

If it was struggling at an idle it would really suffer under a load.

The fuel filter is inside the gas tank as part of the fuel pump assembly.

Maybe clean the MAF and the throttle body.

It'a vibration at idle/park only when ac is on.

Once i put it in D or N the vibration goes away.

    I am suspecting engine mounts.
    What do you think?

It is an internal combustion engine sitting on rubber mounts. There is always some vibration.I highly doubt the engine mounts causing anything. I've never had to replace an engine mount due to a vibration...

What is the RPM reading with the AC off?
    and with the AC on?

The RPM should increase when the AC is on.

Have you cleaned the MAF and Throttle body. You probably need to at that high mileage 172K.

I also vote for cleaning the MAF. I do it once a year on my 2.7 and the engine will typically run quieter and smoother after. Just something Ive noticed, and something I do as routine maintenance rather than looking for an effect so I wouldnt say it's a placebo.
