You can drop the tank without removing the bed. Just two straps and some connections.

    Damn it.

Like @Torspd said. You gotta drop the tank, drain the gas out, clean it out, and clean out your fuel pump.

It's good that it died quickly, it's doubtful the sugar made it to your engine. It's most likely plugged up your fuel pump and your engine is starving for gas.

You catch the SOB that did this?

Aftermarket upgrade. Nets you an external filter which is replaceable for ~$10.

Maybe they did you a favor. ;)

You might be fucked. Soda pop doesn't clog a fuel filter. It's a liquid. We are getting confused with the whole 'white sugar' thing.

Drain the tank and fill it with fresh high octane and crank away until fresh gas hits the motor.

Does the motor still crank? If not, you may have a bigger issue.

Before you drop the tank, the sugar is dissolved in the gas. I would put a few bottles of dry gas in the tank, the dry gas will absorb the liquid and it will burn, Its like having a little water from condensation. I am not disagreeing with the guys I would just try the dry gas first. please keep us informed good luck
