    2012 2.7L Tacoma. Do these second gen 4 cylinders have fuel filters that can be easily service or is the filter inside the gas tank? Thanks.

    Inside the tank; it's part of the pump: not serviceable.

    URD has a retrofit kit that gives you an external easily replaceable filter and traditional high flow pump, I've been running it about five years with nothing but smiles with it.

    My engine was choking for fuel, long starts and running lean with 175k miles on the original filter/pump/sender crap.

    Sigh, i hear stories like this and it reminds me of the fuel line i purchased to do this swap a year or so ago.... I need to get on this swap.
