fuel gauge always say full even when driven for a few miles

    This. Continuing to fill past the designed shut off point of the pump is just wasting fuel and damaging the canister.

    I get 40-75 miles before the needle really moves, and I never top off. Pump switches off and I'm done. I've had 6 different Toyotas. They all did that.

    EDIT: I've had 7 Toyotas. Forgot the Matrix (most forgettable of them).
