Fuel Gauge has a mind of it's own

    Allpro bumper Warn M8000 241,000 miles
    2014 CC TRD 4x4 V6 Auto , recently the fuel gauge will at random go to empty and display the fuel light. It is not empty when it does this. May not do it for several days and then all the sudden I'll get in it and it will. It usually does this right after being cranked and then may go away after a few minutes and start reading normal.

    Ideas?

    Truck has 79,000 miles on it and goes offroad everyday for work.
