Any body have an opinion on Sea Foam fuel line additives?

As a general rule additives are a hard no for me.
If you spend your money on regular service with quality lubes & filters you are farther ahead than using additives.

Using engine oil for example: The oil is a product that is designed by a company with multi-billion dollar resources at their disposal and tested to comply with SAE specifications. The SL, SM, SN, etc. rating you see on an oil container is a testing certification the manufacturer pays for.

Imagine you crafted your spaghetti sauce selecting the perfect cuts of meat, freshest vegetables and premium spices -- and a family member comes along and dumps a bottle of Chef Boyardee spaghetti sauce in your carefully blended mix. That is what 3ed party additives are.

Specifically related to fuel, almost all name brand fuels and some private brands are "top tier" fuels with enhanced additive packages.

That said, I keep a can of Sea Foam around to dump in balky old mowers & snow blowers -- occasionally it smooths them out.
