Hello everyone I’m here to discuss the fuel tank issues on my 2005 v6 4.0L access cab Tacoma, it started when I ran out of gas, it read 1/3 full at the time. Fast forward to now I replaced the Fuel sending unit and it’s not going under 3/4 tank now. So full=full and 3/4 tank=empty

Is this an infinite gas thing

That's interesting! I also had a fuel reading issue where it would be empty at 1/4 tank from E. I replaced the fuel sending unit, and now it can go pass 1/4 tank. I ran it passed that mark a couple of times already.

However, the strange thing is that I think the gas reader is going down faster... like around 1 or 2 gallons faster.

When I filled up recently, my gas tank was a little below the half tank mark... So I decided to full tank it, but when the gas stopped pumping, it read around 9.5 gallons. Strange, because it was under half a tank, which means I should have got at least 10.5 or more gallons

I kind of wonder if the fuel sending units are faulty or if it's due to install
