Fuel gauge stuck on "full" since last fill-up. Any ideas. 2020 Tacoma Sport 750 miles.

Not sure if this helps but I can drive for 3 days after filling up my gas tank before I even see the needle start to go down, then I can see the needle start going down every day.

Exact opposite of what mine did new. My gage ran down fast until the last quarter then slowed up. I’d put gas in and then realized I still had like 7-10 gallons left in tank. Has balanced out now and I go the first 2-3 days before my gage even moves now.

Does the needle go up and down during the start up process?

If not, I wonder if disconnecting the gauge cluster and reconnecting it would help. Maybe also disconnecting the battery for a bit. The IT wannabe in me says reboot.

Or maybe the float in the tank is stuck... try topping off the tank to "unstick" it.

I mean really, why mess with a new vehicle. Should it come back, you have documentation of service.
