Fuel hose clip help!

Hello I was changing the fuel pump on my 2003 tacoma. When putting it all back into place one of the fuel line hoses RED clip broke off! Anyone knows where I can buy one of this red clips? Thanks

Hopefully you aren't in a hurry, might be a couple days if no one has them in stock.

Also, if you only need one, buy 3. They're really easy to break.

cut that fitting out of the hose and use a clamp on hose to the metal line.

You cutting the line off. / hacking the line off. Stock design works just fine.

 

he was looking for a fix. usually its hard to get just the quick disconnect by itself. usually you have to buy the whole line. Since his was broken and seeing as the rest are that way it would fix his issue and would work perfectly fine.
just because it isnt oem doesnt mean it isnt right or wont fix it.

 

I did this when I had a fuel pump go out on my audi. I had to end up replacing the whole line since they diddnt sell just the clip. I hope you are luckier than me!

 

You're probably right.

But, "hack" jobs are for 2nd gens.

1st gens deserve better

 

Actually if you do the urd fuel pump upgrade it'll come with a stainless clamp for that exact purpose. It's used to connect the external filter to the fuel line. The clips are good for quick disconnect.
