    Everything but the driveshaft. B03A - 410
The price keeps climbing. Will it hit $40,000 or more before it ends?

Hi I purchased a set of Denso's and still the same hard to start but once it starts runs real bad on bottom but up above 4000 still has a miss but runs. After 15 seconds or so shut it down and pull the plugs very black and sooty. They are fouled. checked for weak spark thinking the new coils from Rockauto might be weak but the spark is good, however they are Becks so i ordered a new set of NGK coils and Plugs because a weak spark could give the same results. I am getting good air and the air flow meter is new as well as the throttle positioning sensor. No vacuum leaks and that would give a lean mixture. Fuel pump and regulator are new as well as the new injectors, 48 # of pressure. The computer is new, and I don't think i have a broken wire in the harness because everything is working, I am just getting to much fuel. I am going to pull the injectors and see how they are spraying or if they are just shooting the fuel, because if they are not atomizing the fuel then that could be the problem. If anyone as an idea to check I am all ears and it would be appreciated. Thanks

Hmmm interested to hear ur results with this. Im about to pull injector #3 bc i been fighting p0303 code for 2 months now. Changed the plug and ign coil, now thinking its the injector bc i only have a missfire above 4k rpms, and an intermittent rough idle for the first 15ish sec on some startup. Some say headgasket, but i havent had any white smoke or abnormal coolant consumption

Man, this is one bizarre scenario. I feel for you. All the things you've done are what I would expect to correct this condition.

Bumping this up a little, hoping it catches the eye of someone who could have some suggestions

I am going to pull the injectors and then plug them in and test them to see how they spray or just shoot. If they show a good spray pattern then hopefully the NDK coils will do the trick, If not I will just threating the truck with a new transplant and then it will behave, if that only worked. Just eliminate one possible thing at a time until you hit the right one and learn from it. Thanks for the help and I will let you know what happens.
On your possible head gasket problem, just run a compression test to see if you have a low cylinder. Also if you have a plug that is very clean that can indicate that a coolant is steam cleaning the plug which would be your leak. If its the V6 they had a bit of a issue with the head gaskets anyway, but regardless look for the signs. Bubbles in the cooling system is another sign of a head gasket issue.
