First post and looking for help. I'm working on a friends 98 4wd V6 taco with a dead miss on cyl 6. I have a scanner that will read misfire data and all problems point to this cyl 6. I have swapped coils and installed new wires & plug. Compression is normal (140000 miles). Only thing that I can think to try is the injector. Seems like alot of work to pull manifold to get at injector, but I will. Just wanted to get second on it you guys think thats the next step. All other cyls show no misfire except # 5 every now and again and then only 1 or 2. Misfire counts on 6 counts up like a digital clock. Thanks for any help. Fuel pressure showed 60 lbs.

Turns out it was the injector. Bitch to get at under all that stuff. Measured 3400 ohms across coils when it should be about 14 ohms. New one installed and purrs like a kitten. Thanks for the help keakar
