fuel injector cleaning for under 15k miles?

    My 09 Tacoma has a little under 15,000 the dealer is telling me they recommend a fuel injector cleaning for $125.00 should I do it or is this bs?

    I just had my 30K maintenance done and it is not part of the recommended maintenance in the owners manual....anywhere up to 30K. They're trying to soak you!

    another vote for seafoam, i just cleaned my TB @68k it was pretty gunked up but i doubt at 15k you need to clean yours

    Baloney. The injectors are fine. But you do need valve stems lubed at this mileage.

    My '11 factory maintenance guide calls for "Fuel Induction Service" at 30K miles.

    So it's not exactly the same as chrome reverse muffler bearing service. ;)

    Seems weird to recommend that at the 15k mark though.
