Hey there, dealing with a. P0302 code. Switched ignition coil location and the problem did not move. Tried replacing spark plugs to no avail. Is the next step replacing fuel injectors? If so, anybody have a good video or something? Is there anything I need to be careful of when doing this?

I would verify compression is good before going after injectors, injectors dont fail very often and it's an easy test to do.

BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
Pop the #4 coil out (it’s the easiest to access) and if the tip is wet with oil you need new valve cover and spark plug tube gaskets. Good luck!

On the 4.0 engines, this is often a symptom of a head gasket going bad. Coolant dribbles into the cylinder which leads to a misfire on start up. I can't speak for the 2.7 (assuming that's what you're dealing with). If compression is even across the cylinders, go ahead and stick a camera down the spark plug hole after it's been sitting for a while and check for moisture in the cylinder or on the piston. If there isn't any and if you don't seem to be losing coolant, you can start looking at the fuel injectors.

So I had already ordered some injectors and decided to go ahead and change them, I haven’t done a compression test. It started up and ran great after the swap, though I’ve only driven about a mile with it so far. I will keep you guys posted if the problem comes back.

Problem came back quick and worse than before. There does appear to be some moisture in the spark plug tube and I am losing coolant. Does that make it definitely the head gasket?

If you suspect a headgasket get you a cooling system pressure tester, pull all the plugs, put pressure on the cooling system, let it sit for a few hours, come back and look for coolant puddles in the cylinders.
