    So
if my truck sits for a day or two. When I start it it will sound and feel like it's running on 5 cyl.

When I rev it a few times that will go away and run fine. I was thinking I have a injector on it's way out. I will throw a misfire code also.

So would replacing the injectors be a good place to start. ?

Oh it is supercharged, So is there better injectors than stock for this truck being super charged? I really dont have money for a 7th kit

Spark plugs first. Check out LC Engineering. I recommend NGK 1 or 2 steps cooler.

Ngk dual electrode plugs and one stage colder only. If wires have not been done do those. I recommend oem since they come with all the clips. Ngk blues work also. If you think it's an injector pull and ship them to http://www.witchhunter.com. They will clean and inspect. If one is failed they sometimes have oem replacements. You only want oem injectors. Lots of fake oems on eBay and Amazon. Be careful.

    Are you throwing any CELs?

I did replace the plugs with step colder recomended for supercharged tacomas and It has new Plug wires.
I did both about a month ago

I will throw a CEL for a misfire. when I start it after sitting a day or two.

I am not gettin the white smoke out the tail pipe or losing coolant and the oil is still clean and new looking Not thinking head gasket at this time.

    Maybe coil paks?

Consider checking your plug gap. Stock gap is .044", with 8 psi I'd recommend .038". As far as coils you'd have to look up the test parameters to determine if one is bad.

I think the best injector for the sc is the non turbo Supra injector, 315 cc I believe. I would also recommend some type of o2 skewing device. I believe URD makes one.

Could be a lot of things, injectors are pretty easy to get to though so that wouldn't be a bad place to start.

Very well could be injectors. But what code is it throwing exactly? Injectors start to fail on our 5vz around 220-250k miles, we're finding out.

Coil packs are incredibly stout and rarely fail, and if they did you'd a misfire on 2 cylinders due to the wasted spark system (1 coil for 2 cylinders)

Also an off chance that you've burnt a valve due to running lean with the S/C if you run it hard. A compression test would tell you if they cylinder/valves are in good shape.

Start by posting up your code though.

Dude my sc'd 5vz does the same thing. Takes a littler longer than a day of sitting though. When I start it it idles rough for 10-15 secs then clears. I don't get any codes. No idea what it is. I was thinking maybe an injector or an early head gasket leak. But my coolant looks fine and I'm not losing any. Let me know what you find out.

When you did your plug wires, did you change the boots under the coils? they are essentially a short plug wire.

Check out this video on YouTube of a guy running 2Jz injectors in his s/c'd 5vz and read the description below the video. These injectors sound like what your looking for.

If you've changed plugs and wires and still have PO303, then do a compression test on cylinder 3. If good compression, I'd swap injectors with another and see if misfire follows it... or just go ahead and send them all to somebody to clean and inspect because it's probably past due anyway. I used osidetiger to do my cleaning and was pleased.

    1. compression test
    2. change plugs and wires
    3. swap injectors around

1 and 2 could be switched around if you don't mind losing the $$$ if you happen to find out you have a burnt valve afterall.

I started the truck today and it started up fine and didnt throw any codes

If I had a burnt valve wouldnt the truck miss all the time ?

I'll try and do a compression check this weekend if I can find a tester.

Yes it would miss all the time. I missed that it was intermittent. A burnt valve in a 5vz is pretty uncommon too. Still thinking injector...

When It sits for a day or two
I start it. it will sound like 5 cyl for about 30 sec or so then it will clear out and sound normal.
I started it last night and it was fine, opened the radiator cap to see if I had bubbles and looked at the oil . Everything looks just fine.

So I was thinking maybe I have an Injector slowly leaking fuel while the truck it off for a few days.
I have a WRX that I drive most of the time.

It takes like an hour to remove the injectors. Just replace them. You'll want bigger ones anyway with the sc.

You will but it's literally held on by 5 bolts.
