    Lol, I dont smoke but yeah, wouldnt want someone throwing a butt under the truck and catching it on fire. That would not be good. At least its only a smallish leak, doesent drip onto the ground and only leaks till the pressure is gone.

    I didn't realize that. It's good to know. (Been using teflon tape for air and water fittings around the house for years.)

    To me it looks like its actually coming out of the flair area. BUT, definitely possible that its coming from the joint there skeezix. Gonna have to take a good hard look at it. Thanks

    Hey guys,

    Update on the leak in case anyone is interested. Finally got back into town and had a chance to work on it. Turns out there was a bunch of varnished gas and crud on the sealing surface of the flair. Cleaned it up so it was spotless and shiny, tightened er up and voila, no leaks! And I was able to use crows feet and not have to drop the tank so double bonus.
