    Hey guys,
Just bought a 2021 Tacoma with 30,000 miles and it leaks fuel when fueling up. Took the bed off and found the culprit. Looks like somebody tried to seal it up before but did a terrible job. Check engine light is on for evap leak. Does anyone know if this part is replaceable and what is it called? Or do I need a new tank? The red one that’s circled is from a different truck but it’s the same piece. Thanks!IMG_0808.jpgIMG_3856.jpg

If that valve is leaking you’ll need a new tank.

Part of the tank. Look for a junkyard replacement

    Try LKQ

Thanks for the replies! I do have a warranty through the dealership I got the truck from. If it was an easy fix I would have done that instead of deal with them to fix it

so I called Toyota and they said they would look at it through the “customer support program” involving the high pressure fuel pump problems. Even though I don’t think the fuel pump has anything to do with it I’ll just play stupid and have them look at it

Just go back to the dealer that sold you the truck . I’d tell them it’s a safety issue. They’re on the hook for this for selling you an unsafe vehicle. Toyota has got nothing to do with this.
