I have a 2008 Tacoma TRD sport that recently developed a fuel line leak at the first connection forward from the fuel tank. This is the connector that is disconnected when you drop the tank. It is approx. 2 drops every 10 sec and it is at the male / female "plug in" type connector. Can this connector be replaced or do I have to purchase the line beginning at the fuel pump outlet up to the first connection point. I can purchase the fuel pump discharge line assembly online, but I cannot find just the female connector. I can find after market Doman quick connectors but not sure if they will fit properly

You could try disconnecting and cleaning it up and then reconnect. It might at least buy some time.

Did the connector get messed with recently? I’m agreeing with fixnfly, it might have dirt or debris in it. Try blowing it clean, disconnect, clean it out really good, maybe some wd40.
