Got a 2013 DCSB TRD offroad s/c and was thinking about switching out the 3.0 pulley and going down to a 2.8 pulley. Just wondering if I can put this in without having to play around with fuel management stuff or upgrading (7th injector). I have bigger injectors already. Been reading that it'll produce 1-1.5 lbs of boost with the 2.8

You shouldn't need to. That being said, some will say that the stock fuel pump isn't even up to the task of the TRD supercharger in stock form so if you subscribe to that school of thought it couldn't help to change it.

buddy runs his 4.0L supercharged with the URD 2.85 pulley and has never had any issues. Including towing his 6500LB trailer overly fast imo (75-80) up the 14 3rd gear WOT for miles. we got 5.4mpg that trip.

Running the stock air intake however.

Just my humble opinion here, but from what I've read on TW doing a fuel pump upgrade is just safe insurance for a supercharged engine. It will be my first mod after getting my S/C installed just to keep everything safe.

I'm running the stealth pulley on my TRD supercharger as well as an aFe Pro Dry CAI, exhaust and a few other mods that are escaping my memory right now.... stock fuel system. I may upgrade the fuel pump though just because it cant hurt anything & it's cheap insurance. Otherwise no issues.

NEVER fly blind.................. Always run a wideband gauge, then tune as needed.

Then again, Id never run the pulley on the stock pump, it just falls on its face at a certain point.

for the poster talking about running WOT in 3rd gear with no issues for miles.............. Do you know if the engine is seeing boost that whole time?
    If so, how much?

WOT in 3rd gear seeing boost? of course he is.....and I'm guessing around 6.5 pounds if not 7 with that pulley.

    Of course eh?

    Its an honest question.

I know I can fly up some large grades in 3rd and not be in boost at around 3500. Pulling vacuum the whole way. Now I also know after a certain point of being WOT he's gunna hit a wall and run out of rpm. Also, These blowers are not always "working".
