Supply chains from China are disrupted with the virus scare. Buy more toilet paper.

My fuel pump acted up on a 3 hour trip into the mountains this weekend. Felt like the driveline locked up. Was pretty scary because I was getting into some deep snow on a steep climb. Hope they get the replacements soon.

    Reviving thread....

Has anyone experienced fuel pump issues/failures on 2017s?

My Aug'16 build isn't included on any recall but I'm thinking I could have a fuel pump issue though could be several things. I had a P1605/P1604 set of codes trigger in the fall but I never cleared them and hadn't had it back in the dealership since then. When I took my truck in for service, trans fluid, etc., last week I asked for them to look at the codes.

Unsurprisingly the dealership's diagnosis yielded no insights. Nothing wrong, nothing they could identify - they cleared the codes and sent me on my way. From what I've read the P1605 DTC is a pretty broad code that could be anything from intake leak to MAF to fuel pump. 2 days after the codes were cleared I felt a hesitation and the trucks RPMs dropped to 2-300rpms momentarily at takeoff before spinning back up above 1,000. This seems to have triggered another P1605 code. No CEL, but I can see the code with OBD Fusion.

My truck has never stalled out entirely or left me stranded but I am concerned this code keeps triggering and that, at least this time, I could feel and see the "stall event" that was likely responsible for the DTC.

I have been trying all morning and all I get is "Sorry, an error occurred processing your request"..... I enter my VIN and then all the re-captcha crap... then it errors out. Will keep trying, as I definitely want to know if my truck has any of these recalls.

I just tried again and it came back as no open recalls for my vehicle so the system should be working. I had my fuel pump replaced a few months ago when it was first announced and they fixed something with the TSS system to re-seal it / prevent water getting in like 1.5 years ago. Both related to Recall stuff. Maybe give your dealership a call but I'm sure they are backed up a ton.

I had mine done when I had an oil changed last Saturday. Just inquired about it and the service guy said he could do it the same day. So I did it took two hours .

Ok... there must be something in my employer's firewall or other settings that even though the Captcha verifications succeeds, the next step fails. I just tried it from my smartphone, and it worked perfectly.

No open recalls for my truck at this time :militarypress:
