Mine is a 2018 and apparently is on the list now. Would have been nice for Toyota to actually notify me! I checked the website when the fuel pump recall first came out and my truck wasn't on it.

They dont notify people until they have them in stock at the dealers ready to install.

Does this have anything to do with the whirring sound that came from the fuel pump/gas tank area?

It took me a week of convincing the dealership and interacting with Toyota to even get them to look at my brakes which had a failed bushing in the MC that was leaking air into the system and causing random dead pedal and not holding pressure at stoplights. They literally tried to convince me this was normal. This Truck has been one damn thing after another and I am getting so sick of the next issue that pops up after another is begrudgingly resolved.

I have a 8 year 125k extended warranty as result but even that doesn't give me much hope when they refuse warranty repair on something as simple as my sunvisor which fell out of the socket one day. They barely even looked at it and quickly blamed me for abuse and told me to kick sand. Upon taking it apart and inspecting it, nothing was broken it just wasnt put together properly. I am so close to just dumping this truck and buying my GF's mother's 85 bronco and something else.

Dammit man, I'm in it now too. March '18 ACCB This is a recall I'll likely want to do, and I've been avoiding the dealer like the plague to keep them away the TSS foam fix BS.
