The wife just got her notice in the mail today that a remedy is available for her fuel pump on her 2018 SR.

Not sure if old news, just wanted to let you guys know.

    Thanks for the heads up.

I've been getting phone calls 3 from the dealer that sold me my truck. Leaving a message to call and schedule, Haven't answered to talk to them cause they just screw simple stuff up so bad. Wonder how most LP fuel pump R&rs are going also.

Is this an actual fix or are they putting the same fuel pump in like they did with the cps?

I can ask. Mine is at the dealership now having the work done. The dealership called and said the water pump is also leaking, they're fixing that as well, since it's still under warranty.

The fix for failing fuel pumps is (BIG shocker) a fuel pump replacement. Imagine that!

If you want to band-aid it just get it replaced and move about your life. If you want long term reliability go aftermarket and retrofit into your bucket. Much more reliable and more capable than the OE trash they use in the buckets.

    Take your pick.

There is Walbro 255lph (they are loud from reported complaints, but reliable)

There is the AEM green top 320lph fuel pump, SOLID unit. I can personally attest to that.

and the Aeromotive Stealth 340lph red top fuel pump.

There's a few more but those options are the three most reliable I can immediately recommend to you.
