It's pretty unsettling driving around your truck knowing it's on a recall for loss of power and not having a fix for it for 5 more months.

Just got my letter that it is the low fuel pump, looks like I need to go schedule this replacement.

Has anyone out there experienced their vehicle "Stalling While Driving"? If so, what is your situation now?

My pre-recall notice arrived yesterday. I have 15k miles and no issue. Toyota says there may be an issue but has no remedy at the moment.

I got my recall letter in the mail last week, but my truck runs just fine. I'll go ahead and get it replaced as soon as they have the solution ready.

I took mine in last week and asked about FP recall. I’ve had no issues yet. Service guy said it was a software fix... Call me skeptical.

How many people have died from this? Would it have even been talked about if they didn't let us know.

With the stay at home self isolation situation I'm not driving much and when I do go for a drive on a nice sunny day I take my reliable '93 MR2 T-roof turbo.

I put fuel stabilizer in the Taco tank.

I was told a few months ago that it's a low fuel pump and it's going to be computer related, something in the software. I posted that a few months back when I found out.

I got my notice saying there was a recall for my 18 Taco. I had already planned on trading it in any way. I have done so and have a '20 TRDPro.
I never felt any power loss while driving and I put 31500 miles on it in two years.
