But in all seriousness, probably a bad batch from the manufacturer. They probably changed something to save some money and it didn't last. Not really toyotas fault.

Interesting recall....what fuel pump is shared between a Tundra/Tacoma/LX570? Seems like it might me more than one fuel pump? Those models don't even share engines. (well the tundra and LX570 might).

This must be why Toyota builds so many vehicles. Service loaners.

Well Happy New Year to me - seems I qualify. Lovely. I attached the FAQ pdf they link you to when you check your vehicle at toyota.com/recall.

Same here. We will remember this eternally on TW when people complain about being a beta tester if you get a vehicle in the first year or two of a new Gen. “Oh yeah, remember the 2018/19 water pump recall?” I’m just shocked how many different vehicles might be affected. I get that airbags might be standardized, but I didn’t imagine basically every Toyota vehicle having the same fuel pump. Shows how much I know/correctly surmise.

its a fuel pump not water, unless title is wrong.

it makes sense I guess, youd just think thered be some heavy testing on something thats gonna go in all of them.

No one said it's being replaced with a Honda PS pump.

    Some may understand this.

I wonder if the recall affects TX built models or MX built models. Anyone have that answer?

Better lighting and...Starbucks inside. Can't put a Starbucks in walmart. The coffee and coffee machines would get stolen. Oh and walmart has alleys not aisles.
