I don't know if they handle the 'Special Service Campaigns' differently, but I politely asked them to steer clear of the TSS 'fix' while I was in for the fuel pump. Service writer simply said "no problem" and noted as such on the work order.
Realistically, and like most things, it probably varies by the service writer and dealership.

I didn't notice any difference after the recall, but I didn't have any problems before it either.

Had my fuel pump replaced a couple months ago with same one. I was not part of recall yet. Now I’m part of the recall. Called dealer today gotta wait “no remedy available”

But I swear I got better mpg after too

Called and got my appointment set up for a couple weeks from now.
It would be a fun surprise to suddenly go lean at 7 psi of boost lol.

Got my letter in the mail from Toyota and it stated to call an authorized dealer to fix the fuel pump as soon as possible.
I called the dealer today and have an appointment for next week to have the recall done. Looking forward to getting this one complete.

My fuel pump this scheduled to be replaced on Friday. They said to bing it in with 1 1/4 tank. Wonder if they'll fix it with a full tank...

Interesting - My 2019 Tacoma, as of last week has no recall on it whatsoever. That is according to the Toyota service department. Today I happened to receive a recall notice for my wife’s 2019 Camry XSE! What the deuce man!?!?

I just got the recall notice through carfax. The dealership I bought from gives you free carfax subscription for as long as you own the vehicle. Is inventory of replacement parts an issue or are they just hammering these out now?

    The recall is ever expanding.
Punch your VIN or tag # into Toyota's recall search function to see if they're ready for your truck, or if you're just in line.

Just left dealer yesterday . 2020 trd sport bought in nov 2019 still clear of recall. I just keep driving and don’t worry about it . Could be an inconvenience but it’s covered.
