And great, impellers or something internal can't handle gasoline and are melting. Mayne made from delicious and ecological soy plastic.

 

Honestly, I am blaming the cracks and swelling on ethanol.

 

It felt like a lot of rubber band ETBs from that era.

 

What I find interesting is the part number from the tacoma is the same as the highlander, corolla, others. So they must have the remedy but are just spacing it out. The dealers probably can’t do anything until toyota says so.

How does toyota track recalled parts? If you buy the part directly yourself is it a good one or bad one?

 

I'd be absolutely pissed if my truck was still sitting at the dealer. I would have already been looking at legal options or having the work done somewhere else and sending the bill for reimbursement. There HAS to be another pump available. That is just retarded.
