I have the receipt in front of me but I don't see an hour charge or time stamp, or whatever.

Update: I ended up going in with just under 1/2 tank and the service manager said it was fine.

Just scheduled mine and they told me to bring it in with a 1/4 tank or less. Even said that in the confirmation email.

By happenstance I went in with a full tank. If the dealer had an issue they didn't mention it to me, the job was completed quickly. Kudos to Burien Toyota in the S. Seattle area.

I went in for a routine oil change and tire rotation on a Saturday (had an appointment). The service writer told me at check-in that his head mech happened to be working and would I like to go ahead and have the fuel pump recall/change out done. I told him I wish I would have known as I stopped 3 miles down the road and filled my tank. He told me no problem...my guy has done over a hundred of these., so I said OK...2 1/2 hours later I was out of there and on the road with a full tank.

Looks like the average tank drop and filter replacement is pretty much averaged at 2 hours which is about right -- as a recall!
I wonder how many hours of 'labor' it would take if it wasn't a recall paid for by Toyota :eek:
