I am putting my engine back together and am stuck. Where does this line go to from the fuel regulator. I think it was originally went to one of the plugs on the throttle body but both have been capped off. No other nipples are near by. Please help. Truck is a 1996 Tacoma 3.4

there is a solid tube/line under the plenum that it connects to. it's the one that is on the front that also connects to the airbox

I know exactly what you’re talking about but when I bought the truck it didn’t have that piece of the tubing that went under the plenum. So I’m guessing that it wasn’t attached to anything? Is that an issue?

Like I said when I bought the truck it did not have that piece. Where does it run to from the front side under the plenum. Like right into the airbox? I don’t see any nipple or anything left that it could plug into. If I left it as is with it off would it be an issue?

not my image, just for reference

could always just run a tube up to the airbox but the solid line keeps it from getting damaged or in the way

It went here on your year, but your nipple snapped off.

I have one of those I removed from my truck if you want it, or you can bypass it with little to no repercussions.

Ahhh thank you so much!!! Massive stress reliever there. Again thank you. While I got you any chance you know where this piece screw in. Long shot I know but I’m gonna try. It was hanging right below the alternator

That's your crank sensor, goes in a hole behind that water inlet down low at about 1:30 above the crank
