I’m looking to buy a oem OR fuel tank skid from a guy locally. Are the fuel tank sizes the same across all 3rd gens? I know a metal one is better but my 2.7 is already loaded down with weight and I’m trying to keep it down much as possible.

I think the tanks are the same its the straps that hold them down. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong. But i have a limited so I'm pretty sure we have the same gas tank and straps. I was looking into the same thing and all i could find was strap have different part numbers because they have the nut inserts to bolt a skid onto. Tank from toyota is same part number for all makes and models from what ive seen.

Cool, thanks a lot. Yea, I know I need OR straps. Found a wrecked one on eBay, checking prices now.
