    Hey guys,

Im trying to get my Scangauge to display my Long term and Short term fuel trims using the ISO xgauge coding found on scan gauges website, but it doesn't seem to be working. I can get my stft for bank 1 & 3 to display but no 2&4 and nothing for the ltft.

Googling pops up a few older threads where guys are about fuel trims, but can anyone confirm the x gauge coding is correct? Can anyone else with a 5vz currently get all the fuel trims to display?

    Thanks,

Did you figure it out? Do the long fuel trims show right away or does the engine need to warm up.

I’m trying to figure out which set of codes are needed from the website for the 3.4

    Bank 1
    Bank2
    Bank3 or
    Bank4. Codes

I did get bank 3 codes to work, but the trim information was incorrect.
I took my truck to the dealership and the scanguage information was different than the Toyota info.
So I guessing there are no fuel trims info that works for my year anyways with the scanguage 2

This only answers half your question (about the various banks) and not how to program your SGII (since I just use an OBDII reader and not the SG).

Only Bank 1 STFT and LTFT numbers have any meaning for 1st gen Tacoma's. You can also get numbers for Bank 3, but they are bogus - it's some other signal that Toyota put in that data address.

Note: I'm not sure what year started supporting fuel trims. It might be '98 and later, but for sure 2000 (mine), and 01-04 support them.

Edit: I should note that my 5VZFE 1997 4Runner also supports the fuel trim info via OBDII, so it would surprise me if the '97-'99 Tacoma's didn't support it.

I don’t remember right now, I thought I posted the correct long and short trim numbers somewhere on this forum for the 3.4,, but can’t remember.

I had to try a number of them before I got mine to work

These are the Xcodes code numbers that worked for me 1997 tacoma v6 for short and long trim info.
