    Hi all-

Bought a DCLB that came with some semi-fancy wheels (Fuel Revolver, black, 17x9 6-5.5/135). To be honest, they're a bit 'much' for my taste....this is a semi-work truck and the whole big-bad-ass-black-wheels thing just isn't the image I'm going for.

That being said, if they improved the performance (MPG? cornering? acceleration?), I'd probably consider leaving them as is. Otherwise, I'm considering trading them for some stock wheels (and some cash!). Looks like they cost about $900 for just the wheels.

However, my understanding of bigger wheels is that they basically don't really help day-to-day driving. I'm not going to be four-wheelin' this thing, at all. Maybe an occasional semi-rutted out dirt road, but nothing very serious.

Go back to stock, get some extra cash in your pocket. If you don't like the look there is 0 reason to keep those Fuel wheels IMO

They're not going to help with any of the things you listed either.

You sir, are a rational man. The world needs more like yourself. Sell them to some young dude who gets some summer spending money saved up.

Well, don't you worry, I'm plenty irrational in lots of other ways :) But yes, I'd like to believe my car/truck habits are almost 100% rational.

Now if only I could get rid of this silly aesthetics-only hood scoop....how silly is that.
