Not a bad Fuel can for the price I think. How and where are you mounting it?

Prototype is done. I plan on adding a nutsert to the bed so I can bolt the lower side of the bracket to the bed, then it needs some paint. I may add one 1" round posts to each side of the coupler to keep it from shifting around, but I dont think its necessary. It currently filled with 3 gallons of gas and mounted. Well see how it handles tomorrows adventure

    Thanks.

It held up great yesterday in the woods.

Today, I added the nutsert to the bed to mount the lower side of the mount. Seems to have stiffened it up a lot.

Added a 3 gallon FuelPax for dirt biking. The bracket was only $23 at Rotopax.com and I used a stainless steel plate.

My gf bought me two of these and they are solid. Replaced my walmart special can so it's a nice step up. I'm happy with mine. Just need to replace that carb spout for trouble free fueling. I always manage to break them.

Dude your girlfriend bought you truck stuff. That's a swell ol' broad. Good job!!
I got mine mounted up on some bed bars, fuel on one side, water on the other. Except in this picture, where its water on both no need for fuel. Wasn't deep enough in the woods to need it this trip.

as of right now i just toss em in the bed. I really haven't needed extra fuel but bring them just naked when i do go on an extended run.
The ultimate plan thanks to someone in the daily thread is to mount them in the spare tire location. fab up some kind of trap door and then possibly motorize the spare tire pully so i don't have to deal with that damn rod to get them to descend. There are other projects that need to be taken care of prior to this so it'll be a little bit before my idea will come to fruition but it should be cool and convinent when completed. My truck is a stepside so i need to utilize all the storage space i have. less things in the bed the better. granted for now until i get a swingout the spare will take the cans place. But it shouldn't be stuck under the truck when weelin anyway. especially if i wind up needing it. Too many mods, not enough $$ or time.
