fuelpump fail on 56000 miles

    hey guys

    has anybody had problems with the fuelpump on a 2008 tacoma 4.0 ?
    mine just like died yesterday:(

    My dad has a 2008 with 123,000 miles, only issue he has ever had was tires wearing out.

    There is a DIY thread on toyotanation on how to do the change using the walbro kit.

    thanks for the response guys no it has never ran out of gas because i drive on propane (gas is almost four times as expensive as in the us )

    :der::der::der::der::der:but the toyota dealer (free import) where i got the car from asks a little over a 1000 dollar for the repair
