I want a true 3" lift and I am thinking I am going to go with Bilstein 5100's. (On a budget) My question is there are some brandnew OME 884 coils for a very good price that I am going to buy. If I paired the 884's with 5100's would I get the FULL 3 inches? Thanks!

Probably closer to 2.5" of lift with the 884.

2" if DC. If you want 3, go with 885 and a top plate spacer or 887 coils no spacer.

    Again, if DC.

If you get close to 3” you’ll likely need uca’s as well. Anything above 2.5-2.75” you are going to be asking for problems plus poor ride quality. My$.02

Realistically, anything approaching close to 2.5" or more, it's HIGHLY recommended, but yes. OP is looking for 3 and should definitely add UCAs to his purchase list

This!! Then, prepare for the ECGS bushing, new alignment hardware and control arm bushings because your stock units are seized, worn tires and a couple of alignments.
Oh, and if you lift the back, shock extenders or longer shocks. Then, you'll need to relocate your parking brake cables and flexible brake lines on your rear diff.
Would I lift again, yes. Just know that your $ input will be more than the lift!

Hey OP, I don't know much about the 5100s and OME coils, but for my truck, same as yours only blue , you would get a little more lift being an access cab, but not much. And as far as new UCAs go, I've been running my stock UCAs on my lift for a little while now and have had no issues, but that being said, I still bought new ones:spending:
You can get away with it for a while, just put it high on your to-do list

Thanks for the help! What is the difference of running new UCA's?

The aftermaket ucas allow for better allignment and less binding on the front suspension. If you plan on going 2.5"+ then it is recommended to install uca to correct these issues.

For my shocks they help with clearance from the coils, with my stock UCAs, when my suspension droops they contact the coils. So over time they'll ding the crap out of your coils. But as long as you don't do too much off roading until you get new UCAs you should be alright. Depending on which UCAs you get, they'll help with caster too.
