Sorry if this has already been posted. I am looking for any recommendations on a tri-fold or similar tonneau cover that can still allow full bed access while driving, for a 5' bed.

This is the one I have but for the long bed. If you don't mind having the rear window view blocked while the cover is 100% open, it allows for full use of the bed.
There's many similar makers/designs that are cheaper, too

I have the Extang Solid-Fold 2.0. If I need the full bed, the cover comes off in about 60 seconds without tools.

Best of all, it goes back on in less than 5 minutes, also without tools.

Well, by definition a tri fold would still cover 1/3 of the bed by the cab.

You might need a different search term. I think 'roll up' might get you closer.

I did buy a tri fold, and it's just a few minutes to remove/install if you need the full bed. For me that's not a problem, as I usually only need it all 4-5 times a year. If it was weekly it would be more of a nuisance.

From cheapest to most expensive: Bakflip G2 (tri-fold), MX4 (tri-fold), and X4s (rolling) all allow full bed access.

I have the same, also for the long bed. One of the main reasons I chose it is having the full bed access when needed. Its also low profile and looks good on the truck. Very happy with it.

I have the aluminum trifold by Lomax gives me total access to my 6ft bed. Plus when it’s folded up takes like 10 seconds to just lift it off the truck and set it aside or lay it sideways in the bed.

I bought this one off of A 1 Auto for about $650. It's a hard top trifold but doesn't stay up at the cab like the G2 Bakflip. It's super easy to remove without tools. Only thing I want to is it has marine vinyl covering it and was wondering what you can use to clean and protect it. Has anyone used 303 in marine vinyl?
