Brought the truck in for a complete check over. They found what I found and then some.

A/C doesn't work. Leak at the compressor. New compressor, receiver, and dryer - $1,340 ($450 parts)

Steering bushings are loose, rack is fine New bushings and alignment - $314

Drivers side rear shock is leaking (aftermarket ranchos were installed at some point) - $292 installed both sides

Axle seal is leaking - $365

I think I am going to have them do the bushings, and axle seal. I can't do an alignment at home anyway. It's almost winter right, no need for AC, and I want to put bigger leafs, and shocks anyways. And I feel confident in making that happen before winter.

No word on the frame though, they needed to get back to me on that.

I bought energy suspension steering rack bushings from rock auto for $20. Took me an hour and a half to get them in.

Good to know, I thought an alignment would be needed after the installation.

The dealership might remove the tie rods to get access to the rack and bushings, but if you're doing it at home you shouldnt need an alignment afterward. I followed a couple writeups that I found here and on another site, maybe ttora? I can find the link for you later if you'd like.

I havn't done axel seals but Ive seen a lot of talk about those on here as well.
