I am on my 2nd Walker exhaust. Over 22 years with the truck and 275000 miles.. I cant complain. Cant beat Walker for the money! I do ceramic paint the outside of the exhaust before I install it...It just seems to last a bit longer when it only rusts from the inside. :)

My walker exhaust the only real problem is where the Tail pipe is welded to the muffler every few years it breaks there stick a new piece between the tail pipe and muffler and weld again go for another few years.

My previous Walker exhaust rusted out in 1 year. My current Bosal has held up for over 3 years. The Magnaflow cat looks even better still and thats over 3 years old. The difference in stainless steel and quality is noticeable between all 3 brands.

This summer my original header cracked in half, muffler rotted out and my cat gaskets were leaking. I replaced my entire exhaust system with OEM: headers, cats, muffler, gaskets, o2 sensors and hardware. Was pretty easy to install when using all new parts. But it was expensive... around $3K in parts (OEM cats are crazy expensive), but my truck is running like brand new. In general I try to use OEM for fuel, air and exhaust.
