I think that just comes down to their lack of bracing. Most other companies skids are 3/16 (including my skids) and with the bracing mine take a beating just fine.

I lost track thousands of dollars ago.
Buy your second set first. Ours will take a beating and ask for more when your Done!

Don't skimp out on skids you will find yourself buying a second set in a few trips.

The strongest skids on the market and I'm sure the heaviest lol.

Out of the other options Mobtown would be my second choice.

Yea, originally I wanted BAMF but they are expensive, and putting them on would be a bitch. And free always wins

Need to :curls: before I get BAMF Skids. I was scooting under my truck with the pelfreybilt on top of me when is slid off my chest and went downward and started smashing me down there.. HaD it been the BAMF skid I would have died of intense pain.

OP ARB skids are junk straight up too much money for less protection than others can offer. Better off buying atleast IFS and Transmission skid from Mobtown, RCI, or BAMF if you feel crazy.

Garage is full of shit, can't block the street, and don't want to pack tools then drive 20+ min to another sloped driveway.

custom car grill, KORE sliders, light bar, KORE bed bars w/ tire and high lift mount. MOBTOWN front IFS skid.
+1 for mobtown, met them all up at AOAA at an event they put on and sponsored. Great dudes. I'm going to be pulling the trigger on a full set of 3/16 steel skids from them soon. At $650 for all three I think it's a no brainer.

I'm stock height, sliders, without super aggressive tires and I've been all over the greens at AOAA without a problem. I've only really used the sliders on the blues i've ventured onto. Picking good lines and a little common sense you can navigate most blues there in a stock truck, albeit a little nerve wracking!

Looking forward to meeting you the 18/19 !
