Full Screen Navigation

Mine works on full screen until I get onto the highway. Then it splits again and puts upcoming exits on the right side. Annoying.

 

There is an option for that... I stumbled on to it and can't tell you how to fix it. It happened to me as you described... I think I fixed it by hitting the options button in the upper left of the nav screen... Map View maybe? This YouTube video shows the basics... Toyota should put out an Entune Simulator App... so one could practice and get familiar on an iPad or tablet...

You can turn that feature off.

 

I was using a magnifying glass, but I started my radio on fire.

 

How?

 

Open navigation map.
Click on options top left of screen
Click on map mode

Click on map only.

 

2015 TRD OR TACOMA..... TRIED ALL OF THE ABOVE SUGGESTIONS. I BELIEVE THE STUPID NAV DOES NOT Have option to stay FULL SCREEN FULLTIME! IT Will switch back to split screen. SO STUPID! any advise?

 

NO advice... still does it on mine but when I choose map mode = map only it will split when a turn is suggested and then after I turn it will go back to map only mode. IF I choose not to turn, it will stay in split screen. Kinda annoying as is out of the blue suggesting I take a round about route going over hill and dale and not the highway I am currently on...

 

You can change the settings in the menu on your radio.

 

Yes I know and it still goes back to split screen mode even tho I select map only IF I don't make the turn suggested when it goes to split screen - the split screen stays. IF I actually turn the suggested turn, the split screen goes back to map only mode.

Hair splitting... kinda sorta, but I have to take my eyes off the road and put the APP back in map only mode IF I don't make the turn suggested.

 

I use the full screen, but I've noticed that when on a dived Hwy (interstate), the screen goes two screens to show the exits and services, etc that are coming up....

When I leave the hwy...it goes back to full screen...

 

I've got a related question. Several of the screens, particularly music/radio screens, the font is too big for it to all fit on the screen, and you can't see full titles etc. most if not all the time. I've looked through the book and within the apps but can't find a way to re-size the font to fit the screen, or to make the titles scroll....Any way to do that? I'll look at the link above too and see if it has anything...

 

On full screen map - when I am driving all these gas station and exits pop up taking up 1/2 the screen on Right

is there a way for that stuff not to pop up ?
