yup. That is not my truck or video, I just found it on youtube for reference.
I had it welded in for $50 and they welded on a TRD tip for me too that I got off ebay aswell.

 

I would too if I knew what it actually sounded like and could find reviews of that muffler. But I have no welding skills and from what I have read for the 2012+ you will need to modify the rear hanger cause it is different for that cat back(it needs to be welded in the other direction) so that will add some costs too. I just went with what I could find reviews on and that wasn't a flow master or expensive magna flow. Either way I am sure it prob sounds fine and is a hell of a deal too.

Just so you know 409 ss is part of the straight chrome series stainless and will rust over time. most "factory" stainless is 400 series stainless 30 series would be a bit better as much more nickel in the material thus allot of exhausts are made 304 and the really nice stainless systems are 321 but you see that mostly on turbocharged stuff with higher EGT's to deal with..

I kind of like this exhaust for the money. I thought about reproducing these in 321 but not sure the market will bare it.

People give me shit all the time for toning down my chrome. It actually annoys me.

Now i'm thinking of doing my badges in blaze blue plastidip

 

i think its a nostalgia thing, i hate the chrome, my dad thinks it looks good.

im thinking of taking the badges off altogether and getting some vinyl, i think it would be a cleaner look

 

Yeah, I'd like to debadge the doors, but idk, some vinyl would be cool, a matte black bar down the side from front fender to rear with "TACOMA" cut out
