Hello TW gurus!!! I'm looking at upgrading the factory stereo and have already bought a few things. Oh before you go further...I do not know anything about electrical lol :). Below is what I currently have on-hand.

Can I please get your expert knowledge to help me make the right decision (after the fact hahaha)? Please let me know if there are things that are needed or not needed for a smooth install :). That said, if it makes more sense to just wire one 5-channel amp, please let me know. The clarion amps were removed from previous vehicles, which is why I have two. Thank you.

I would use a circuit breaker that is rated for what the maximum amount of watts your system will be pulling off the battery and run 1/0 OFC to the back of the cab. Then get a distribution block and run 4 gauge to each amp this can also be fused for each amp depending on where you buy it from. I would also try and find a good set of 6x9 components for the front and get cheaper rear speakers that will do the same job. As far as the sub goes, get a single channel amp you will be hard pressed finding a decent 12" sub that only needs 200 rms.

Do you have the upgraded JBL touchscreen? If so, I'd love to know what you use for a wiring solution. I'm still on the hunt for a plug and play wiring harness to put in an aftermarket stereo.

    Too many to list
Try looking at this thread. I don't think we have a confirmed 3rd gen JBL diagram if that is what you need. We are actively looking for one but making do without for now.
