Alright guys! I need some input here.

It's time to upgrade out of my busted toytecs. I'm leaning heavily to some Fox 2.5s, for the 3" lift factor. I think the Fox 2.0s could work, but I've got and ARB bumper, Apex sliders, aspirations for a winch soon, so weight is my only concern. With the 2.0s only advertising 2" of list, also a reason why I'm leaning towards the 2.5s.
I'm finding pairs of 2.5s for 1,400 bucks give or take, curious if anyone has a better deal!

I do a little bit of hauling for work, but the toy AAL is doing well for that for the time being.

    Thanks in advance guys!

I have been running Fox 2.5’s for a little over two years. I have been very happy with them. I’m putting ATH bumpers on next week and I have the same concerns about weight. I’ll let you know if i lose any height after the bumper install.

More than likely you will need to upgrade the springs to either 650lb or to700lb to support the additional weight. Most coilovers if not all come equipped with 600lb springs.

If I recall, the Bilstein 5100/toytec combo utilizes a completely different spring type. You will need a spring made for 2.5" coilovers. The difference is that the springs on the 5100 are tapered whilst the 2.5" springs are straight with no taper.

Ah gotcha, as some members have stated, you should be good. I misunderstood your existing setup. Let us know how it goes.

Yup. Kings top dog around here. But fox is pretty good too. And cheaper. If I ever do a 3" lift I'll probably go fox
