I live on the road full time and I've met some other great folks who are doing the same.

I thought it would be pretty cool to have a thread where we could share our adventures, tips and tricks, joys and sorrows, check in with each other where we've been and where we're going.

So if your home is the long road and your wonderful truck, come in, say hello to fellow wanderers, and share your story!

I left the Olympic peninsula earlier this ear and have been living out of my tent in Canada since then.

Recently returned to pick up my new FWC Swift shell and have been building it for about a month now. Just finally hitting the road again...not sure exactly where to. Bit of a lost soul looking for perspective in life...

First tip to share is rust! Witch happens to be today’s project.
You’ve heard it before “rust never sleeps” true but there are ways to control it!

Area of concern, here and a couple other latches. Dare I say it.... are they sourced from China???
    Well this is my bandaid:

the key ingredient is phosphoric acid

they should of been made of stainless steel..... well..??
This won’t get rid of rust but it certainly slows it down!
    Happy trails!
