As long as there is a/c, heat, power windows (wouldn't really mind cranks to be honest), and cruise control I'm happy. Id rather have a manual transmission though. Other than that I like the rest of the vehicle to be prett basic. I understand the atrac system and what not and it seems like it helps out some, but I'd rather not deal with it. The simpler the better in my mind. Plus if I wanted more traction I could just get lockers

Loaded - as lifting can come later, but "Factory Installed Options" are "Now or Never."

if you want fully loaded, get a car. a truck is supposed to be a truck, no luxury anything, not even power windows, and people cant see that your truck is fully loaded, they can see a lift kit/tires/wheels all of which make it look way meaner than a loaded pick up truck.

I am kind of an expedition guy, I have been known to spend weeks in the woods at a time. I am a big follower of keeping high morale when I am spending time off of the grid and to me having a nice place to retreat to when you are surrounded by hell on earth is a wonderful thing for morale. Sure you could have a spartan tool of overland destruction, but if you plan on spending any extended amount of time in your truck, whether that be in the woods, dunes, highways, or glaciers, having a nice place to relax when you aren't thrashing can make a major difference on how well you feel overall. The higher your moral, the longer you can spend in the woods. Being fully loaded does not pull from performance if you don't get overboard. Sure it is one more thing to go bad, but if it does, who cares as long as you weren't depending on it for survival? This is just my opinion so don't anyone go get getting offended.

IMO Power accessories and luxury items doesnt make it not a truck. A truck is still a truck whether is a fully loaded harley davidson edition ford or a gmc denalli or even a base model prerunner its still a truck. It all depends on what the owner needs the truck for or how much they can spend. And if you lift your truck just for looks then your just another mall crawler. I cant justify lifting mine cause I will never use any of the mods to there full potential. Just my 2 cents.

I don't like trucks that are loaded with electronics and other crap. I like things simple.

i bought mine loaded but i'm going to end up upgrading nearly everything i paid extra for originally so i'd say lifted. especially if they let you pick all your lifted parts and just save you install. i dont wanna pay triple the price for a crap Toyota OEM lift though.

IMO prolly better to just buy one neither lifted or loaded and get everything you want installed aftermarket (hopefully by yourself, take some pride in your truck)
