    I like the last sentence of #6 installation instructions.

    You guys do get down and crawl under your truck to see if it is leaking before you start the truck to drive off..

    Ah, the rare 3.6L :rofl::rofl::rofl:

    I installed mine so that I don't have to remove the skid plates to change the oil. We'll see how it holds up. I'm also using the safety clips, that from what I read is un needed.

    I've always done that after changing oil, you don't? Check the filter and the plug to make sure they aren't leaking.

    That would have been an easy fix - no bueno. Also was thinking if the nipple is past the valve wouldn't leaking at the nipple be impossible?

    Not red, just potato camera and bad lighting. Plus Manual.
    Very slow drip, looks like I'll top up til the next change and then swap it out.

    I would reachout to the company. Send them an email with the pic. Might get a replacement out of it.

    I love the concept of these, but my OCD would have me checking for leaks every other day

    Yea, I'm on the fence about these. They seem awesome in theory but with 10k oil change intervals they seem slightly less beneficial and I'd always be worried something's going to smack it open somehow.

    And at some point I'm going to stop babying the truck and just take it to jiffy lube for changes for convenience. So, in 6k when I change my oil I could install it, then 16k from now I'll get to use it. Then 10k after that. That will put me right around the not giving AF timeframe. Where I'll start dumping it on jiffy lube.

    I was almost brain washed into buying one of them but I said to myself, "I take my truck to the service dept. once a year for a oil change... I don't need one of those."

    none yet/none planned! It's perfect!
    I have been also but unless you are a magician you are getting oil on your hands. This eliminates any oil on your hands. Really about all it does.

    Also make it so you don't have to drop your skid plate to change your oil.

    Yeah, the longest one (pretty sure that's the N, from what I can remember)... There's a good 1/2" gap.
