Depends on the type of valve you have. I had some that connects directly to the metal nipple but the one I have now has a plastic nipple that connects to the valve and then the tube connects to the plastic nipple. The last setup can3621C29C-CFE6-4760-84E7-7C4F9D5966C5.jpg16EC6A04-0815-45BB-B9C5-928C96A4D7D9.jpg be purchased from Fumoto or Amazon.

That little plastic clip between the hose and the valves nipple is important. I keep the white plastic on the valve at all times because its very secure on the valve. Initially I purchased my own tube from my earlier vehicles but they never worked as good as their $5 setup.

Sir, I regret to inform you that your Tacoma ate the drain plug and is now trying to poop it out (or give birth to it?).

I thought we were just communicating our perspective.

I didn’t call my mom yet. I doubt OP has either.

I’ve been thinking about getting one of these for a bit and probably will at some point just because it’s a cool little valve and I like truck gadgets so I’m not bashing the product at all. I will say though that I’m in my 40s and have been changing oil since I was probably 5 with my dad and can do it pretty quickly and without spilling a drop. By the time you get the and attach the hose drain it then have to mess with the hose again I really can’t see how this is a more convenient process. It’s just a different set of steps to accomplish the same thing.

I do have the TRD skid plate. Will the long nipple drain plug fit as well?

Why would you think I’m upset? Totally not. Just thought I’d share additional information, that’s obvious frankly, so people can understand why I posted. Certainly you did not. I guess you aren’t use to having a civil conversation. Surprise, surprise!

Lol... it aint even a friday.

I wont ever use one based on the fact there are many instances of exactly what you did as well as other things. (If you fuck up so bad on crush washers - which you can get 20 of for 5 bucks - you shouldnt be doing an oil change).
