Covered in stickers and chrome stick-ons for extra horse torques and foot powers. Icon sticker gets me tons of travel, dozens of milimeters.
I'd be in for an F103S. N feels like it'll put an unnecessarily sensitive part lower to the ground.

Shit, eventually. I keep telling myself tube bumper first...

Actually, after what I said above: how come no one is a fan of the "plain ol" F-103 without the extended fitting?

N works perfectly for me because I have a whole differential in the way. If I manage to somehow break mine with a rock, it's clearly a sign that I am not meant to have one.
Because you have the option to stick hosing on there and control where the oil goes. I'll probably be using it to dump my oil into empty oil containers and just skip the whole oil pan part.

Also people like sticking things in holes. You don't get that with the base 103

@kyle11863 your first point isn't relevant for the Tacoma!

But you do make a great point about running the oil direct to an old oil container and skipping the oil catch pan...

Although for us 4L v6's we'll have an extra half quart that won't fit in those 5Q bottles... :goingcrazy:

    It's relevant because 4runner > Tacoma :brianr:

Save the extra 1q bottle that you'll use to put that extra half quart in. Or just be a real car guy and drink it. Duh :der:

Says the guy who's 4R won't turn on and has known head gasket issues. Yeah but it defeats the cleanliness factor having to move from one bottle to the other due to the extra half quart. Either way I'm in for an F-103S.

Strange, They answered me first I guess. Apparently they do not recommend these for offroad use. Not sure if that concerns anyone :notsure:
Shhhhhh I've got a bum one. POs mistreated the shit out of her :pout: And it did start up until I tore half the block apart. Mine has probably more than double the mileage and is over 6 times older than yours so :brianr:

What you do is watch the level of the 5q. When it gets almost full, close the valve and switch bottles. No mess

Well the Fumoto guy just called me directly and said they can't do the previous prices quoted in the email. So I told him the members like stuff easy. Lowest price, free shipping. He will get back to me tomorrow but it doesn't look that good as of now

Oh it wasn't about the group buy. I was just curious how well these stand up to things like mud as anything attached to my rig gets drenched in it

Just curious...regarding the Safety clip, is it plastic? If it is can it stand high heat?

uh oh. Thanks for the update!
Yeah. Don't want a failure due to my habits. Mud can be damaging to some things

Is the safety clip being included as a bonus or something? the more accessories the better! :D
    Good question

One of the Amazon reviews on the clip isn't very positive about Nevada heat. I'd probably use a zip tie if you're really concerned. Snip it off to change oil and toss a new one on after the change is done. Good and solid and nice and cheap.

@kyle11863 the design of it should be fine. If you're concerned about it getting plugged up I imagine a bit of a brush before a drain would work?

I received a coupon code for 50% off accessories. I think that would include the plastic retainer clip.

    Code is: ACC50
