BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
Mine has been on for 15 years with no problem. So much easier to just flip a switch and because I’m lazy af.

Small lift, slightly oversized tires, well...
There's a clip that can be used to secure the lever from accidental opening. I would think a crows foot would get you close to the proper torque. TBH, I've never torqued an oil pan bolt. Just be smart with the tools.

A search of the site would've given you more info than you'd need or possibly want.

I've been using one for about 10 years. No issues with opening or leaks. Super easy to change the oil. WIN!

I use one on my 2nd gen. Have been for years. Mess free oil changes are nice. It drains out a little slower than the plug but that allows me to go over the truck and grease the driveshaft. There’s a plastic clip that locks the lever in place to prevent accidental openings which I’m not sure how that would happen.

I just got 2 of these for my Tundra and Sequoia. Not sure if they make one for Tacomas, but I'll look into it if I like how they work when I install them this weekend. These look more low profile than a fumoto valve and accidentally opening isn't even possible for these.

You don't need special bolt or torque wrench---- I added one when doing my oil change and the instructions just made a point of stating to put wrench on valve body itself (not the nut) and to not over tighten. If I remember correctly, not more than 1/4 turn beyond hand tight. As mentioned above, a clip is included to secure the lever. Here's a pic of mine (got the version w/ nipple so I can connect drain tube from valve into bucket). If your oil pan is lower to the ground this one may not be good for you, but it's nice when up high enough to not get hit.
